PresidentDennis purchased The Sherwood Restaurant in 1979 from his father, and the rest is history. From seating guests and clearing tables, to cooking your meal and doing the dishes, Dennis can be found doing just about anything and everything around the restaurant. Every detail of The Sherwood’s operation comes under Dennis’ meticulous eye, from the meat lockers to the sugar bowls. He might even have been the very friendly carver who sliced your roast beef for you. You’ll often see Dennis working in or around the dining rooms, so don’t be afraid to say hi the next time you’re in.
Restaurant General ManagerWhen the doors open, you’ll find Gail busy taking reservations, making donations, or waiting on tables. Of course, Gail isn’t there every day, but Gail makes it her mission to make sure everything in the Restaurant is looked after and our Customers are taken care of. Whether you’re looking for a donation to a charity raffle, wanting to make a reservation, or just want an opinion on what to eat, Gail’s there to meet your needs.
Banquet ManagerThe Sherwood has been a caterer to Brantford and area for over three decades, and in that time our catering division has grown leaps and bounds. Keeping track of all the events that we cater is Mary. Mary works hard and enjoys her job which is key to the success of The Sherwood in making your event perfect. Whether it’s a lavish wedding, a boardroom lunch, or birthday party, Mary will make sure that your every need is met. From the food to the decorations, Mary is doing that little bit extra that our customers have grown to expect from The Sherwood.
Bookkeeper & AccountantEvery company or organization needs someone managing their finances, and Cheryl does that for us. Whether it’s tracking down outstanding accounts, paying bills, helping with charity donations, or even ordering inventory, Cheryl does it all with her own personal flair.
